Mr. G.P. Rao, a known name among the Human Resource champions in the country and former Vice President (HR) of JK Group visited ASBM and delivered the second lecture in the series “Road to Excellence”. Speaking on the new frontiers and challenges posed by the ever increasing market dynamics “2008 brings two opportunities first ; avenues galore and pay on performances. There will be zero job securities and zero days to start work for any manager and eight adversities namely competitors, customers, boss, investor, colleagues, nature, government and activists” reiterated Mr. Rao with his charming eloquence.
Mr. Rao the present Secretary General of NHRD Network who also held several coveted HR position including industrial houses including SAIL and Birla Group Interacted with management students and answered queries on changing face of HR in India and abroad. The Founder Director of ASBM. Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak presented a memento to Mr. Rao. The meeting was attended by Dean of the institute Prof. Kalyan Shankar Ray, Chairman PG Council Prof. C.K. Dash, faculty members and students.
