ASBM’s IIIrd Anniversary celebrated
Ace B-School ASBM celebrated its III rd Anniversary at its Shiksha Vihar Campus by organizing a voluntary blood donation camp. This camp was inaugurated by Chief of ‘Sambad’ Group Shri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik. Exemplary enthusiasm was seen at the blood donation camp with participation of around 218 volunteers comprising the students of Post Graduate Programme & BBA, members of the faculty and administrative staff. The donors included the Dean Prof. Kalyan Shankar Ray and his wife Mrs. Snigdha Ray, Asst. Dean Prof. Udayan Das, Chairperson of Students’ Welfare Council Prof. Ashish Mohanty, who also motivated others for this noble cause. Dr. Debashis Mishra from Capital Blood Bank, Dr. Benudhar Satapathy from BMC Blood Bank, Sri Ajay Mohapatra and Sri Asit Mohanty from ‘Ama Odisha’, Prof. Balaram Swamy Jutta, Sri Sunil Mohanty, CAO of ASBM, Pradeep Pradhan & Tapan Mohapatra from ASBM’s Mother Teresa Health Centre alongwith Blood Bank Officials Ms. Sanghamitra Swain, Ms. Binapani Martha, Sri Satyajit Singh Ray, Sri Satyanarayan Das, Sri Kaibalya Pradhan, Sri Lipak Patra, Sri Prakash Baral and Sri Kanhu Charan Sahoo coordinated this camp. To mark the third anniversary celebration, plantation Programme was carried out in the campus and a congregation to pledge for voluntary eye donation supported by humanitarian movement ‘Drishti Daan’ was organized. This awareness campaign was addressed by noted social activists Mrs. Nalini Sharma and Sri Rajinder Singh Arora, who deliberated upon frequently asked questions regarding eye donation. The various social responsibility initiatives promoted by ASBM were overwhelmingly responded by intellectuals from various walks of life, media persons, development professionals and management students.
