7th Edition of Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak’s HRM Book Released by Hon’ble Governor of Odisha
The 7th edition of the acclaimed book Human Resource Management, authored by Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak, Founder and President of ASBM University, was officially released by the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Kambhampati Hari Babu, at a special ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Bhubaneswar.
Applauding the scholarly work, the Governor described the book as “a significant contribution to HR education,” commending its integration of indigenous knowledge systems with global HRM practices. “This edition stands as a valuable guide for future leaders and professionals in the field of business and management,” he added.
Prof. Biswajeet Pattanayak, a renowned academician, management thinker, and institution builder, is widely recognised for his pioneering contributions to Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour in India. He has previously served as a faculty member at IIM Lucknow and IIM Indore, and has authored over 20 books and more than 100 research papers published in reputed national and international journals.
The latest edition of Human Resource Management has been extensively updated to reflect current trends such as digital transformation in HR, the rise of remote work, and evolving employee engagement strategies.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Pattanayak highlighted the need to blend traditional wisdom with contemporary management practices in today’s dynamic business environment.
